Our annual Community Christmas performance for 2009 will to be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 
A diner in 1950s Bethlehem (USA), a blizzard on Christmas Eve, stranded travelers, some wandering sheep, and one unruly donkey make for a night to remember in the original puppet script from the Zeek and Friends Christian Puppet Ministry. Enjoy some favorite Christmas carols with a '50s' sound as our cast of puppets reflect on that 'first Christmas' in the original Bethlehem, where God the Son came down as an infant and visited His people. We will celebrate Emmanuel, "God with us", as we look at what God has done for His people through the one true Savior and King, Jesus Christ the Lord.

Welcome to Zeek and Friends Online, the official outreach website of the Zeek and Friends Christian Puppet Ministry, from Altoona, PA, USA.
We are a Christian puppet team, based in Southwest-Central Pennsylvania, with a mission to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the medium of puppets, storytelling, and theatrical staging, using our God-given gifts of performance, creativity, and technical design, all to the greater glory of God our Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Our old friend, Leon P. Fussbudget, III (from our 2005 and 2008 Christmas shows) shares memories of a special Christmas Eve from 1958, complete with 50s- and 60s-style Christmas carols. The 2009 Christmas Program from Zeek and Friends, Back to Bethlehem, takes the audience to a diner in the late 50s, in Bethlehem, USA, where a group of travelers get stuck in a snow blizzard on Chistmas Eve, and there they learn that the season of Christmas shows us God's greatest gift, given freely to His people, in the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Even though the blizzard may have interfered with their plans, the travelers will all come to see God's wisdom in using the event to bring them all closer to Jesus, who is called Emmanuel, which means "God with us".
