Zeek and Friends presents "The Greatest Gift"

There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays Advertising signs abound at Christmas, proclaiming all variety of Christmas tradition: gift shops with sales, drive-through Christmas light displays, even many local businesses wishing "a Happy Holiday". Are there any signs pointing to Jesus, the King of Kings, who came down from heaven on that first Chrismtas, who is Immanuel, "God with us"?

Our three city friends, the cat, dog, and mouse from last year's Christmas program (Morrie, Essex, and DLW) will return for a special trip to the countryside to speak with some friendly, but wayward sheep about what Christmas is really all about.

Join us at 6:30 PM at First Lutheran Church on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 for the final Zeek and Friends Christmas program for the 2011 season. We would love to see you there for this puppet presentation which should be enjoyable for all ages.

We are a Christian puppet team, based in Southwest-Central Pennsylvania, with a mission to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the medium of puppets, storytelling, and theatrical staging, using our God-given gifts of performance, creativity, and technical design, all to the greater glory of God our Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

He Is

Twinkie the rabbit rejoins Zeek and Friends for a look at the great salvation offered through Jesus Christ. Based on passages from the Gospel of John, the program looks at the seven "I Am" statements made by Jesus during His earthly ministry.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 ESV)

From all that Jesus says and does, we see Him to be One with God the Father and the Holy Spirit, "God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made." Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, the One and only way to eternal salvation.
